I started tirzepatide while I was still riding seriously. The weight came off. So did something else — my power. I would go out for a ride I had done a hundred times and come home cooked, with numbers that did not look like mine.
The problem was not the medication. The problem was that I could not eat. Appetite suppression is the whole point of a GLP-1, and it works — right up until you ask your body to do three hours of work on a breakfast you were not hungry for. I was under-fueling without noticing, and it showed up as watts, not as hunger.
I looked for an app that understood both halves of that. The GLP-1 apps tracked weight and cared nothing about training load. The training apps assumed I would eat when I was hungry. Nothing sat in the middle and said: here is what today's ride costs, here is the protein you need to keep the muscle, here is why you feel flat.
So I built it. Signal GLP™ is the app I needed, built by the person who needed it.
I use it every single day. The screenshots on the home page are my own account — not mockups, not staged demo data. When something in the app is wrong, I find out on the bike before you do.
Where Signal GLP is today
Signal GLP is independently built and self-funded. There's no venture capital, no growth team, and no call center. The membership is live, the product works, and we're focused on making it better for the athletes who use it.
I'd rather be transparent about where we are than pretend Signal GLP is something bigger than it is. We're early, we're growing, and when you reach out, you're talking directly to the person building the product.
We're early, and I'm not going to exaggerate our size or manufacture social proof we haven't earned yet. What you will find is a tool built by someone taking the same medication, following the same kind of training calendar, and working through many of the same fueling and performance challenges.
Signal GLP was built from the problem, not around the market.
